Benjamin Michael Faye (Guitars, Backing Vocals)

Born and raised in Philly, Benjamin developed his love for music after watching depictions of rock bands in Back to the Future and The Secret World of Alex Mack. After discovering he had perfect pitch, he played saxophone in school bands, studied guitar with the late Russell Faith (songwriter for Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughn, etc.), and studied music at Camden County College. He went on to become a DJ for college station 91.5 WDBK and a music director for multiple churches in Orlando. Among other topics, he discusses music, social justice, and the intersection of the two with his 35,000+ social media followers. Having grown up on the music of the '80s, from Prince and Journey to Tears For Fears and Toto, Benjamin comes to Boombox Legends with deep knowledge and love for the music that defined the decade. He also plays with Atlanta artists such as Logan & the Misadventure, Emma LaPrade, and Ad Astra.
