Bret Love (Lead Vocals)

Bret began his music career at age 11, when he was accepted directly into the world-renowned Atlanta Boy Choir's touring choir. Six months later he was on a 16-city tour of Italy that ended in singing for Pope John Paul II in front of 200,000+ people at the Vatican. His passion for performing led him into musical theater and numerous bands, from shows at Center Stage and Atlanta Symphony Hall to a Jack the Rapper Convention showcase. While majoring in Music Business, he worked as a DJ (Album 88) and a record company marketing rep (BMG) before becoming a professional music journalist (Rolling Stone, Tower Pulse, Downbeat, etc.). He also earned a reputation as a talented musical improviser during his 8 years performing improv comedy with Dad's Garage Theatre and JaCKPie. Boombox Legends marks his long-awaited return to the stage, where he uses his unique skills for vocal impressions in tribute to his favorite '80s New Wave and Funk artists. .
